Gerz Petallo and the FEU Lady Tamaraws are aiming to get one back against the UP Fighting Maroons when they collide in a high-stakes rematch on Sunday, April 6, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament.

Currently clinging to fourth place with a 6-4 record, the Lady Tamaraws are determined to protect their spot in the Final Four and avenge their surprising first-round loss to the Fighting Maroons.

FEU is coming off a tough defeat at the hands of NU, and head coach Tina Salak’s squad knows the importance of bouncing back quickly.

Gerz Petallo will be counted on to provide scoring support for Faida Bakanke, who continues to anchor the Lady Tams with her consistency and power up front.

On the other side, UP is making a late push for the postseason, riding a two-game win streak to improve to 5-5.

A win on Sunday would not only complete UP's season sweep of FEU but also move them into a share of fourth place.

Kianne Olango is looking to assert herself as another key weapon for the Fighting Maroons alongside scoring leaders Irah Jaboneta and Joan Monares, giving UP more options as they continue their climb.

With playoff implications looming large, expect fireworks as both teams battle for critical ground in the Final Four race.
