Rookie star Shaina Nitura will look to lead the Adamson Lady Falcons in a massive upset bid against Alyssa Solomon and the NU Lady Bulldogs on Sunday, April 6, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball action.

Adamson may be on a two-game skid, but the Lady Falcons (3-7) showed no signs of quitting in their last outing, taking the UST Golden Tigresses to five sets behind a monstrous 36-point explosion from Nitura.

With their Final Four hopes on the line, the dynamic freshman will once again need to deliver against a powerhouse NU squad teetering on the edge of clinching a semifinal berth.

NU (9-1), for its part, is looking to formalize its entry to the playoffs with another win.

Solomon, fresh off a 30-point outburst of her own, remains the focal point of the Lady Bulldogs' attack as they try to build momentum heading into the homestretch of eliminations.

The odds may be stacked against Adamson, but with Nitura hitting her stride and the rest of the squad playing with urgency, the Lady Falcons could turn heads with a statement win and keep their playoff dreams alive.
