Four players finished in double figures for Alas in the breakthrough win, the first for the country in the SEA V.League since 2019, when the Philippines also finished third in both legs.
Alyssa Solomon led Alas in scoring with 16 points, 14 coming from attacks with one block and one ace.
Sisi Rondina and Eya Laure added 13 each, while PVL no. 1 pick Thea Gagate was good for 10 points.
Alas Pilipinas will continue the SEA V.League with a second leg in Thailand.
