Steady as a rock.

Gilas Pilipinas retained the no. 2 spot in the latest 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers power rankings Volume 4 at the conclusion of the tournament’s November window.

This is after the Nationals secured a spot in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 by sweeping the two-game homestand against New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Adding that to their previous February windows victories against Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong, Gilas is now sporting a perfect 4-0 for the solo top spot in Group B.

World number 7 Australia remained as the no. 1 team in the power rankings after dominating dubs against Thailand and South Korea.

Meanwhile, Gilas Men also stayed at the world number 34 position in the overall world rankings as of November 26.

That also meant that the Tim Cone-led squad is the seventh best Asian team, just four spots behind China (no. 29) and five spots back of Lebanon (no. 29).

USA, Serbia, and Germany are the top three teams with a little to no movements being observed in the top 30.

Gilas Pilipinas will face Chinese Taipei and New Zealand anew, but this time on the road, in the February 2025 window of the tournament.
