Gilas Pilipinas are set to face another challenge as they take on undefeated Egypt in the Doha International Cup.

They clash Monday, Feb. 17, at 1:30 a.m. (Manila time) at the QU Sports & Events Complex.

Gilas bowed to Lebanon, 54-75, struggling in the fourth quarter where Karim Zeinoun, Gerard Hadidian and Jad Khalil took over for the opposing side.

Justin Brownlee had a strong first half with 15 points but was held to just six in the second as the Nationals failed to keep up.

Egypt, meanwhile, has been dominant in the tournament, most recently dismantling host Qatar, 83-54.

With their unbeaten record on the line, the Egyptians will pose a tough test for Gilas.

Gilas will need a stronger and more consistent performance to avoid back-to-back losses and finish the tournament strong.
