Jaja Santiago and the JT Marvelous continue to run roughshod in the V.League Women’s Division 1.

Taking their win streak into the new year with still no problems, JT Marvelous stop defending champion NEC Red Rockets in four sets: 25-17, 26-28, 25-18, 25-20.

Paired with yesterday’s four-set win over the Kurobe Aqua Fairies, JT Marvelous extend their perfect run to 15 games in the V1 for clear first place.

Jaja Santiago tallied seven blocks against the Red Rockets, finishing the game with 18 points (9 attacks and two aces).

For the current season, Jaja leads all of Japan in attack and block percentage at 57.1 percent and 0.91 per set, respectively.

For her V.League career, Jaja is also now at an even 400 total blocks. Santiago has played 165 games across six seasons in Japan so far.

Her current high mark is 103 total blocks, achieved in the 2021-22 season with Saitama.
