Cignal has the highlight of its 2024 revamp.

Bryan Bagunas is set to make his Philippine comeback with the HD Spikers, the team announced Tuesday.

The high-scoring, highly decorated spiker comes home after five years of strutting his stuff abroad.

Bagunas’ international exploits feature two stops, first in Japan’s V.League for the Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler where he played three seasons.

In his final season in Japan, Bagunas finished 6th in total points with 511, spiked by a career-high 42 against VC Nagano.

Bagunas then moved on to Win Streak to play in the Top Volleyball League.

His first season in Taiwan was a massive success, leading the league in scoring at 520 points to power Win Streak to their first title. In the decider against defending champion Pingtung Taipower, Bagunas tied his career-high 42 points in the five-set victory.

Bagunas was later named MVP, making him the first Filipino to be named Most Valuable Player overseas.

In his current season in Taiwan, Bagunas has Win Steak up to a 13-1 record. He’s averaging 22.4 points per game, with a season-high of 35.

Bryan’s local exploits are equally as impressive, with MVP and Finals MVP awards in the UAAP for the champion NU Bulldogs. He also led the Philippines to a silver medal finish in the 2019 SEA Games.
