Taoyuan Pauian Pilots seized control early on its way to a 101-85 win over San Miguel in the 2024-25 East Asia Super League on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Alec Brown led Taoyuan with 27 points and nine rebounds, while Trevon Graham and Lu Chun-Hsiang added 25 points apiece.

The Pilots now share a 2-0 win-loss tally with Japan B.League’s Hiroshima Dragonflies to climb atop Group A action.

After a relatively tight first half, the Pilots went on a 32-13 second quarter tear to take a 57-33 lead at the half.

They never looked back.

The Beermen, who dropped an 87-81 loss to Korean Basketball League’s Suwon KT Sonicboom in the opener over a month ago, thus reeled to 0-2.

San Miguel's Quincy Miller bounced back from a disappointing debut and dropped 32 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in a losing cause.
