Every year, millions of Filipinos join the annual Traslacion and commemorate the Feast of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila.
Even with their busy schedules, several figures in Philippine sports took part in the Traslacion which happened on Thursday, January 9.
Among those spotted in the sea of devotees were Magnolia Hotshots head coach Chito Victolero and star player Calvin Abueva, who are known to take part in the commemoration year in and year out.

Joining them were Rain or Shine Elasto Painters' Adrian Nocum and TNT Tropang Giga sharpshooter Almond Vosotros, who have also shown their strong commitment to their faith on and off the court.
In the volleyball scene, George Pascua, head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons' men's volleyball team, also participated in the religious tradition.
Meanwhile, Borgie Hermida, assistant basketball coach for the NLEX Road Warriors, made time to join the faithful gathering in Quiapo, demonstrating solidarity with the devotees.

The Feast of the Black Nazarene has become a testament to the unwavering faith of Filipinos.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that approximately 8,093,850 individuals participated in the procession, which transported the revered image of Jesus Nazareno from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.
For these sports personalities, it was a moment to reflect, give thanks, and seek guidance as they continue their journeys in their respective teams and sports.
