Stephen Loman believes he’s got the tools to make life hell for ONE Championship bantamweight king Fabricio Andrade, who seems untouchable at the moment – at least in the world of mixed martial arts.
Second-ranked ONE Championship bantamweight MMA contender Stephen “The Sniper” Loman believes he’s got next in the highly competitive weight class.
The pride of Lions Nation MMA called out reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabrico “Wonder Boy” Andrade through his team’s social media channels, stating that there’s only one logical challenger for him at the moment.
This comes after Andrade’s return to MMA, when he defended his world title for the first time, against Kwon Won Il in just 42 seconds of their rematch at ONE 170 last month.
Andrade promised to focus on MMA after a brief detour to kickboxing last year, and Loman has been right here waiting for him.
“Fabricio Andrade, congratulations. You proved again that you’re the champion. But we both know that there’s one challenge you haven’t faced yet, and that’s me,” he said.
“You’ve beaten some of the best, but I’m a different animal.”
For the 29-year-old, he believes he’s got the tools to make life hell for the bantamweight king who seems untouchable at the moment – at least in the world of mixed martial arts.
“My power, my pace, my wrestling, you haven’t dealt with someone like me,” he said.
Loman insists that he’s gotten much better since the last time fans saw him compete in ONE Championship, and he wants to prove that by tackling Andrade this year.
“I’ve been grinding, waiting for my shot. Now there’s nowhere left to run,” Loman said.
“Let’s give the fans what they want. You versus me for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title. No more talk, just action. What do you say, champ?”
