Navarro is looking stronger than ever.
After going down with an ACL injury back in December 2022, Will Navarro of the NorthPort Batang Pier is seemingly nearing to his return to the court.
On Instagram, Navarro posted several workout videos of him strengthening his legs.
The former Ateneo Blue Eagle suffered a full ACL tear during the Batang Pier’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup quarterfinals match against Barangay Ginebra.
Despite going down with the injury, NorthPort decided to resign the 6-foot-6 forward to a two-year deal.
In eight games with the Batang Pier so far, Navarro averaged 14.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals.
NorthPort coach Bonnie Tan previously mentioned that the 25-year-old could potentially rejoin the team in time for the Commissioner’s Cup.
Navarro's return from injury will be a welcome sign for the Batang Pier, who had a huge haul during the PBA Draft, selecting guys like Zavier Lucero, Cade Flores, Fran Yu, Brent Paraiso, and John Amores.
Should Navarro be able to find his form right away, he will be an important piece for NorthPort’s playoff hopes.
