Jamie Malonzo is a real one.
Between healing from a minor injury, the continuous grind in the PBA Commissioner's Cup, and a lot more commitments outside the court, Jamie Malonzo is a busy guy.
But the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel forward proved he's a man of the people after making time for a Ginebra fan's wake. On Thursday night, Malonzo posted a picture of him visiting the wake of Gracia Miguel, a Ginebra super fan.
Miguel is not only a Gins fan, but particularly a Malonzo supporter. On her Facebook account, the Ginebra loyalist uses a picture with Malonzo as her profile picture.
Other ka-barangays appreciated Malonzo's gesture and respect for Miguel.
"That's why we love Jamie. He is a nice person with a big heart for his fans," Bheng de Lumban said on Facebook.
Rest in peace, Gracia. Jamie and the rest of Ginebra will definitely play hard for you.
