PBA: Meralco's Aaron Black sidelined with torn ACL

Meralco’ slim playoff hopes in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup have been dealt with a huge blow.

 

The Bolts confirm that guard Aaron Back is out indefinitely after suffering a torn ACL. 

 

Black was hurt last Sunday, April 28, during Meralco’s 74-51 win over Magnolia. The victory was the second straight for the Bolts, which slot them in 7th in the team standings with an even 5-5 record.

 

Meralco confirmed the development Tuesday.

 

 

 

Aaron appeared in all 10 games of Meralco so far in the Philippine Cup, averaging 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
