The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel showcased mastery over playoff rival, the Meralco Bolts, sweeping them in the quarterfinals to clinch the first spot in the 2024 PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semis.

To honor the Gin Kings' triumph, multi-time PBA champion Jared Dillinger shared an endearing photo with his team on social media.
“Semis bound #nsd,” he said.
The photo included Joe Devance, who recently came out of retirement to rejoin Ginebra. However, missing were former MVP Mark Caguioa and center Isaac Go, who is currently rehabilitating a knee injury.
Still, Dillinger seized the moment to tag two, emphasizing the family bond within the Gin Kings.

With Ginebra now in the semifinals, the Gin Kings now await the winner in the fierce showdown between the San Miguel Beermen and Converge FiberXers.
