The San Miguel Beermen shipped Terrence Romeo and Vic Manuel to Terrafirma for Juami Tiongson and Andreas Cahilig ahead of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
Terrence Romeo did not hide his sadness after the San Miguel Beermen traded him to Terrafirma Dyip on Monday, Nov. 25.
Romeo was part of the approved PBA deal that had the Beermen also send Vic Manuel for All-Star guard Juami Tiongson and Andreas Cahilig.

This marked the end of a near six-year stint with the Beermen for Romeo, who won three championships with the most successful franchise in the league.
While the move away from SMB stung, the one-time Finals MVP understood this was all part of the basketball business.
“Probably isa sa pinaka sad moment ng career ko pero ganun talaga walang permanent sa basketball world importante yung happy memories and achievements natin at mga learnings hindi na mawawala,” wrote Romeo in an Instagram post on the same day.
The seven-time All-Star then went on to thank the entire San Miguel organization, including former head coach and now consultant Leo Austria, as well as SMC sports director Alfrancis Chua and CEO Ramon S. Ang.
“Maraming salamat po Boss Alfrancis sa lahat ng tulong at lahat ng pag intindi sakin at pag alaga at higit sa lahat sa aking boss na utang ko yung career ko at kung na San ako ngayon Boss RSA maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwala nung nag sisimula palang ako sa San Miguel,” he wrote.
“Hanggang ngayon po salamat po sa mga tulong sakin and sa family ko at salamat po sa chance na binigay mo po sakin to play for this team habang buhay po ako na tatanaw ng utang na loob sayo boss.”
The three-time PBA Scoring champion now looks to turn a new leaf with the Dyip, where he will be united with former GlobalPort partner Stanley Pringle.
“Thank you terrafirma sa pag welcome sakin sana makatulong ako sainyo let’s get it!!!!” Romeo wrote on his post.
