Four-time PBA champion Christian Standhardinger was listed as injured/reserved for the Terrafirma Dyip to open the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
The coach later confirmed CStan was not attending practices.
The day after their game, Terrafirma Dyip team governor Bobby Rosales confirmed to the media that Standhardinger told them of his intention to retire.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial weighed in on the matter.
