“Nagugulat na nga lang ako sa mga lumalabas kasi busy ako sa anak ko eh. Di ko alam anong nangyayari,” said Bolick after a 98-89 loss to San Miguel in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup on Saturday, April 5.
“Alam niyo yan pag mga tatay, di na kayo nakakahawak ng cellphone. After practice pag uwi ko nagbabantay ako ng anak ko. Nagugulat lang ako sa mga lumbalabas pero di naman totoo yun.”

Asked about his relationship with Uichico, the former San Beda guard was quick to say there was nothing wrong going on between them.
“Wala, wala. Kahit sinong coach ko wala akong ano. Okay kami,” he said.
In fact, Bolick and the rest of the Road Warriors have no time to quarrel as they are trying to learn a new system employed by Uichico.
That new offense allowed the team to crawl back from 15 points down against the mighty San Miguel in the endgame.
Though they still ended up losing at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Bolick said everything’s going fine at the NLEX camp.
“May bago kaming sistema ngayon. Medyo nanibago lang kami lahat pero maganda tinatakbo namin, maganda ball movement namin,” he said.
