Ravena and Pineda have developed a strong bond after just one conference of playing together in Akari.
Akari Chargers teammates Dani Ravena and Bang Pineda are clingy to say the least, and they know it.
On her Instagram story, Ravena posted a photo of her video calling with Pineda, who is currently in Japan, training with the Philippine women’s national volleyball team.
"I miss you, too!" Pineda told Ravena. "Ilang araw pa lang akong wala."
In response, Ravena showed how she is a highly self-aware person.
"Clingy na natin," she replied via Instagram story.
But Ravena's self-awareness did not stop there, as she also hilariously mocked herself in the caption.
“Galingan mo mag-receive diyan, baka sabihin nahawaan na kita,” coupled with numerous emojis.
Safe to say that Ravena and Pineda have definitely been reading what volleyball fans have been talking about on Twitter. Nonetheless, it’s all good banter for the Akari besties.
It should be a while before the two Chargers see each other in person again. It's possible that after the national team’s training in Japan, Pineda and Team Philippines will head out to Cambodia for the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
