The Cargo Movers aren’t letting themselves get left behind in the recruitment wars.
After the Chery Tiggo Crossovers added five UAAP volleyball alums in their roster over the weekend, including UST Golden Tigresses star Eya Laure, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers have announced their own prized acquisition in FEU Tamaraws’ Jov Fernandez.
Fernandez, who was hailed Best Opposite Spiker of UAAP Season 85, brings F2 Logistics another scoring option. This is welcome development for a team that is looking to reach bigger milestones in the PVL after securing its first-ever podium finish in the PVL All-Filipino Conference earlier this year.
With the stellar play of Fernandez and under the mentorship of coach Tina Salak, FEU produced an inspiring Season 85 where they pushed contenders to five-setters and even sniffed at the last seed of the Final Four. They finished with a 6-8 win-loss card, just one year after their dismal 1-13 record in Season 84.
The Tamaraws will certainly feel the loss of an ace like Fernandez.
But FEU’s loss will now be F2 Logistics’ gain—and PVL fans have more reason to be excited for the PVL Invitational Conference.
