Choco Mucho Flying Titans star Des Cheng is looking fit. In every sense of the word.
With the PVL Invitational Conference opening its curtains this Tuesday, the Flying Titans need to be in top shape once again. And Cheng, the veteran leader that she is, has already set an example.
On Monday, she proudly shared on her Instagram Story how she has slimmed down ahead of the tournament. She tried out an activewear outfit, which she said was "so tight" the last time she wore it.
The 26-year-old outside hitter has always put in the work in the gym, even during the offseason, as she regularly posts her workouts on social media.
Her impressive body transformation should bode well for her as she tries to help the Flying Titans in her second conference with the squad. They had a rather mediocre stint in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, ending up in seventh place after only notching two wins.
Still, the former UAAP Finals MVP will always be a threat on the court with her competitiveness and volleyball IQ. Now, with an improved physique, expect Cheng to be more agile and quick (including showing support to other volleybelles).
She will team up anew with her former college rivals in Bea de Leon, Deanna Wong, Kat Tolentino, and Dennise Lazaro in leading the charge for Choco Mucho. A key addition is Sisi Rondina, who makes her much-awaited return to the PVL after focusing on beach volleyball.
Cheng and the rest of the Flying Titans will open their campaign in the PVL invitational Conference on Thursday when they take on newcomer Farm Fresh Foxies.
