The newest franchise in the PVL roster is done introducing its main stars who will carry the team banner in the upcoming All-Filipino Conference. Yep, the Nxled Chameleons have finally unveiled all seven of its big guns on Thursday. And leading the pack is none other than former Ateneo Blue Eagles star Jho Maraguinot.

Of course, the rowdy supporters of the league went into full fan mode. They went across all social media platforms and expressed their thoughts on the big news.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), @AngelsHaven7 made an impassioned plea to the talented open spiker.

“Balik mo na laro mo, Eagle Claw, pleeeaaseeee,” she tweeted.

“More playing time for her sana,” @pyro_131415 wrote.

“Please lang, more playing [time] this time,” emsmusor_1105 reiterated.

Another fan wishes for Jho to become the Chameleons’ undisputed leader.

“Finally, sana first six siya palagi at siya ang team captain,” @papibeast14 posted.

On Facebook, meanwhile, the fans simply can’t wait to see Maraguinot in action while donning her new jersey.

“Goooo, goooo, idol Jho Maraguinot! See you in the upcoming PVL Conference on October,” commented Marvin Salamero.

Maraguinot has been dealing with injuries and playing time issues in her recent tour of duty with Nxled’s sister team, the Akari Chargers. For Facebook user Sachel Mamba, it belies Maraguinot’s true value.

“Sana paglaruin, sayang ang husay niyan. Last conference naging audience lang siya, haisssst,” he said.

Maraguinot will get a chance to prove herself anew once the season-ending conference begins. Joining her in Nxled’s final round of announcements were Chiara Permentilla and Rachel Jorvina.

The followers of the PVL were thrilled this development as well.

“GOOOOSEBUMPS,” @homeless.ry posted on Instagram,

What do you think? Are the Chameleons equipped enough to make noise in the country’s top volleyball league?
