The Nxled Chameleons tapped a vet to help them with their PVL debut.
May nagbabalik!
Outside hitter Judith Abil makes her PVL return, signing up to be a part of the new squad Nxled Chameleons.
It's been two years since she last played for the former PVL team UAC Power Hitters. The University of the East Lady Red Warriors standout recently suited up for the KMS-Quezon City Lady Vikings.
"So far, so good. Kailangan mag-adjust sa palo kasi iba ang laro dito sa PVL. Kaya todo sipag sa training," she said in an Nxled interview.
The sister squad of the Akari Chargers continues to make waves during the off-season, signing up Japanese coach Takayuki Minowa as chief tactician.
Abil has been training so far with the team for two weeks. And she's setting tame goals for herself.
"'Di ko nilalagyan ng sobrang high expectations 'yung sarili ko. Gusto ko lang mag-enjoy ulit dito sa PVL," she shared. "Ilabas kung ano yung laro talaga."
She's just thankful for the chance to get back to the league.
"Balik natin kung sino si Judith Abil!"
