Wala bang kakambal si coach?
IMPORTANT WARNING: Too much sweetness can cause inggit.
When Taka Minowa was named coach of new team Nxled Chameleons for the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, many fans posited that his wife, Jaja Santiago, would return to the league soon.
That, however, didn't happen, with Santiago signed with JT Marvelous in the Japan V.League. That meant Minowa had to stay in the Philippines by himself.
Of course, Santiago helped with Minowa's transition by introducing him to the local culture, which meant feeding him the most important food group in the Philippines: That fast food restaurant that rhymes with Schmolibee.
However, as they say, home is where the heart is. It's more literal for Minowa and Santiago, who recently reunited when the Nxled coach went back to Japan for a quick visit.
On Saturday, he shared on Instagram how happy he was to spend time again with Santiago.
"HOME! A place where you feel safe and comfortable. After only a few hours of being home and being with you, I already felt relieved and stress-free. My heart always knows where I belong, and that’s being with you," wrote Minowa.
How do you say "Nasaan na ba 'yung pamalo ko?" in Japanese?
But in all seriousness, it's always heartwarming to see Minowa and Santiago making sweet posts for each other.
Even Nxled star Dani Ravena, Petro Gazz Angels ace Grethcel Soltones, and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers coach Regine Diego couldn't help but shower the post with heart emojis.
Santiago has a beautiful new house, a solid stint with her new team, and a romantic husband who loves her deeply. That's the trifecta right there!

Minowa has since returned to the Philippines, as the Chameleons, who are coming off back-to-back wins, will return to action on Thursday against the undefeated Creamline Cool Smashers.
