Just when you think you had her, she finds a way to get through.
When Alyssa Valdez was reinserted in the fifth set of the frenetic Game 2 of the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference finals, she calmly scored the opening points for the Creamline Cool Smashers.
Her next assaults were thwarted by the formidable defense of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans led by Kat Tolentino. The Phenom, however, was undeterred.
Valdez responded by adjusting her attacks. She scored a few more points soon after, including a missile that clinched the seventh PVL title for the ladies in pink.
Fans and pundits didn’t hesitate to call her Clutch Queen anew.
Days later, it became clear that the three-time PVL MVP has no plans of relinquishing her crown anytime soon. Even when she’s not on the volleyball court.
Instead, Valdez’s clutch gene went on full display at a parking lot. On Monday, the highly decorated spiker hilariously “flexed” on her Instagram Story her exquisite parking skills.
It showed her vehicle parked just a couple of millimeters away from the metal side barrier.
“Alyssa ‘best in parking’ Valdez,” she jokingly wrote as a caption.

That was close.

Had it been anybody else, he or she would’ve probably cracked under pressure and would be googling “nearest car paint repair” a few seconds later.
Thankfully, it was the Clutch Queen who was operating the steering wheel.
Or should we call her 'Matic Queen? Get it?
