So what happens when Tyang Aby and Ara meet Mars, Ivy, KKD, Majoy, Dawn, and KAF on the other side of the court?
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers have always been known for their swaggy celebrations in the PVL.
It's part of the appeal.
And going hand-in-hand with the fierce Best Outside Spiker Eya Laure and the rest of the young Chery Tiggo Crossovers is one of the reasons why Aby Maraño and Ara Galang are looking forward to wearing red and black.
"Kung nakikita ng mga tao kung paano ako mag-swag, ine-enjoy 'yung mga point, mas lalo 'yung rampa ni Tyang lalo kasama mga batang 'to. Swaggy din 'to," Maraño said in an interview with One PH's Power & Play on Saturday.
But what happens when they meet their former teammates on the opposite side of the court?
"'Yun din 'yung isang nakaka-excite. Kami-kami rin nagkakaasaran," Maraño shared on One Sports' The Game on Monday night.
"Walang staredown ah!" "'Wag aangasan," Galang added in the same interview.
Setter Mars Alba was signed up by the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, while Kim Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, and Kim Fajardo have joined the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
Meanwhile, Myla Pablo, Mary Joy Dacoron, and Ethan Arce were picked by the Petro Gazz Angels; Dawn Macandili-Catindig and Jovelyn Fernandez will be donning the jersey of the Cignal HD Spikers; and Ivy Lacsina will be playing for the Nxled Chameleons.
Kidding aside, the former Cargo Movers have been completely supportive of each other's career paths.
"Saan man mapunta, 'yung sisterhood na meron kami sa bawat isa (andun)," Tyang Aby said on Power & Play.
She pointed out how they share every announcement of each former Cargo Mover's new team, "Sobrang happy nagkaroon ng teams after disbandment ng F2 Logistics."
When the team owners announced the disbandment after their last game of the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, the meeting was full of tears.
"Magang-maga mata namin," Maraño said.
"Naririnig mo, sinisipon na. Non-stop tulo ng luha," Galang described.
When the 2024 season starts, there might be no staredown and swags between former Cargo Movers, but expect there will still be a lot of heartfelt hugs on the court.
