Brazilian outside hitter Monique Helena takes her talents overseas for the first time as she is set to bolster Galeries Tower in the PVL's import-laden conference.
Galeries Tower has unveiled its import for the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The Highrisers welcomed the 22-year-old Brazilian Monique Helena on Thursday night, June 27.
Helena may be relatively young, but she has already played for numerous club teams in her home country.
The 6-foot outside hitter suited up for Lavras Vôlei, Itambé/Minas, Minas Náutico, Bluvolei Furb SME, Vôlei Taubaté and ABEL Moda Volei.

Her upcoming campaign with Galeries Tower will be her first overseas stint.
Helena should serve as a welcome addition to the Highrisers, who recently signed free agents Roselle Baliton and Shannen Palec.
After finishing 10th in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference, Galeries Tower, which holds the third pick in the inaugural PVL Draft set on July 8, aims to climb the league standings and contend for a title.
