Ivy Lacsina fires 15 points from 15 attacks for the Akari Chargers' straight-set win against the Capital1 Solar Spikers in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Ivy Lacsina powered the Akari Chargers to their first sweep of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, dominating the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 25-9, 25-17, 26-24, on Saturday, February 1, at the PhilSports Arena.
Lacsina was unstoppable, scoring a game-high 15 points—all from attacks—as Akari improved to 5-4 in the standings. Her offensive firepower set the tone early, allowing the Chargers to cruise through the first two sets before holding off a late Capital1 rally in the third.
The match also marked the return of Ced Domingo from a knee injury, adding another boost to Akari’s front line.
Meanwhile, Capital1 suffered its fourth straight defeat despite a 14-point effort from Trisha Genesis.
Lacsina and the Chargers will aim for back-to-back wins when they face the Choco Mucho Flying Titans on Saturday, February 8, still at PhilSports Arena.
