Ivy Lacsina delivered a stellar performance as the Akari Chargers secured their first sweep of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference with a 25-9, 25-17, 26-24 victory over the Capital1 Solar Spikers on Saturday, February 1, at the PhilSports Arena.
Lacsina, named Player of the Game, led the Chargers with 15 points—all from attacks—on perfect efficiency, proving her reliability on offense. Throughout the match, her teammates and coaches kept encouraging her to stay aggressive, which fueled her confidence.
Ced Domingo also made her return from injury, boosting the Chargers' frontline, while Trisha Genesis paced Capital1 with 14 points.
Akari, now 5-4, will next battle Choco Mucho on February 8, while Capital1 (1-8) seeks to end its skid against Nxled.
