Nxled's May Luna-Lumahan is still on a wedding high after tying the knot with her partner, David, in early January.
May Luna-Lumahan needed no further motivation in Nxled’s match against Galeries Tower in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
In early January, Luna-Lumahan tied the know with her partner, David, marking a new chapter in their lives.

No longer busy with wedding preparations, the 26-year-old spiker finally churned out solid contributions to help the Chameleons bag their first win in the conference.
Luna-Lumahan, who came off the bench and delivered 14 points, pointed her strong performance to her husband, who was watching from the sidelines.
“Masaya tsaka nakaka-motivate kasi siyempre ‘yung asawa ko nandiyan siya ngayon, so parang minsan na lang siya nanonood ng game so dapat kapag pinasok ako ni coach dapat let’s go, points,” Luna-Lumahan told One Sports.
“Tsaka every time na parang feeling ko hesitated ako, honestly, tumitingin ako sa bench tas sinasabi niya na dito papaluin so parang meron din ako coach sa labas. It’s very motivating,” she added.
The former DLSU standout also made sure to thank her Nxled teammates and coaches for allowing her to focus on her wedding in the previous months.
But now that her focus is back on the team, Luna-Lumahan hopes to contribute in any way she can as the Chameleons look to end the preliminary round on a strong note.
“Honestly marami akong absent for the past few weeks and months pero ‘yung support na nandoon, hindi ka nale-left out,” said Luna-Lumahan. “‘Yun ‘yung mas naging motivation ko na kailangan kong mag-perform ng maayos kapag nabigyan ako ng chance kasi malaki yung tiwala nila sa akin.”

As for their Valentine’s Day plans, Luna-Lumahan shared their simple yet sweet date as husband and wife.
“Siguro kain lang sa labas kasi of course meron pa kaming season so siguro after na lang ng season kami babawi. Eat good food na lang,” Luna-Lumahan shared.
