Bernadeth Pons leads the way for the Creamline Cool Smashers, top-scoring in a grueling five-set thriller against the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
She made 23 points from 20 attacks, along with nine excellent digs and 10 excellent receptions.
But it was not enough as PLDT took the win, 30-28, 25-21, 23-25, 18-25. The High Speed Hitters also halted the Cool Smashers' streak at 19.
This is the High Speed Hitters' third straight victory against the Cool Smashers, dating back to the preliminary round encounters in the 2024 All-Filipino and Reinforced Conferences.
