The Akari Chargers aim to bounce back and clinch a bronze medal finish in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, squaring off against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the deciding Game 3 of their series at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Saturday, April 12.

After pulling off a gutsy reverse sweep in Game 1, the Chargers couldn’t sustain their momentum in Game 2, falling in four sets despite a balanced scoring effort.

Eli Soyud led the team with 16 points, followed by Grethcel Soltones and Ivy Lacsina who had 15 each. Middle blocker Ced Domingo contributed 10 points in a steady performance.

Now, with everything on the line, Akari turns to its talented core—Soyud, Soltones, Lacsina, Domingo, and team captain Mich Cobb—to secure the franchise's second straight podium finish, following their silver medal run in the 2024 Reinforced Conference.

However, Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma will likely still be out for the Taka Minowa-led squad as they recover from their respective injuries.

Game 3 of the bronze medal series between Akari and Choco Mucho begins at 3:00 p.m.
