"See you in Japan!"

Kai Ballungay shared the post on Instagram on Tuesday after the Ateneo Blue Eagles swept the AsiaBasket over the weekend.

The Blue Eagles completed the 7-0 sweep, holding off the College of St. Benilde Blazers last Sunday, 60-57.

But the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball champions aren't quite done with their pre-season preparations.

They will be heading to Japan to defend their inaugural title at the World University Basketball Series (WUBS) in Japan.

Aside from familiar foes in the National Chengchi University Griffins of Chinese Taipei and the Tokai University Seagulls of Japan, WUBS will also be welcoming the Korea University, the University of Sydney Lions of Australia, the Hakuoh University Soldiers, the Perbanas Institute Rhinos of Indonesia, and the Radford University Highlanders of the United States.

Coach Tab Baldwin's squad will first be taking on a Japanese university men's basketball select team on August 10.

The Blue Eagles will then take on the Lions on August 11.
