It was a big third quarter for the Green Archers.
Kevin Quiambao kept things simple in the aftermath of the La Salle Green Archers’ 71-58 win over the Adamson Falcons in the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday.
“Nag-enjoy lang kami,” said Quiambao after the match at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. “Medyo nawala ‘yung joy namin sa paglalaro nung first half.”
The Green Archers did seem like they were enjoying beginning in the third quarter, where they uncorked a 23-to-nothing outburst that changed the complexion of the game for good.
At one point in that fiery stretch, Quiambao lobbed the rock to Mike Philips, who soared for an emphatic two-handed throwdown on the break.
