The University of Santo Tomas continued its winning ways, as the school was hailed the UAAP Season 86 general champion.

This is their seventh overall title at the collegiate level--racking up a record-breaking 47 championships.

It is also their eighth overall title at the high school level--pushing their total to 23.

At the collegiate level, UST racked up 332 points--coming from nine championships, seven runner-up finishes, and five third-place finishes.

Meanwhile at the high school level, UST collected 260 points from eight championships, seven runner-up finishes, and four third-place finishes.

The UST Golden Tigresses made their mark by ending the NU Lady Bulldogs' seven-year dynasty in women's basketball.

In the women's 3x3 circuit, Kent Pastrana and the Golden Tigresses successfully defended their title.

UST though showed it was the undisputed ruler of the sands, defending both championships in men's and women's beach volleyball.

It's also worth noting that both men's and women's volleyball team reached the indoor finals, but they had to settle for silver.

In chess, the men's team delivered the three-peat.

The men also ruled the tennis tournament, with UST's Steven Sonsona named as Finals MVP.

The same goes for men's table tenis, with John Michael Castro hailed as MVP.

In taekwondo, it was the women who shone brightly.

Chelsea Tacay was named MVP in poomsae.

The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe picked up the cheerdance bronze for their BLACKPINK routine.

UST then finished the season strong with a gold medal in streetdance.
