Niña Ytang became the first middle blocker to score 30 points in a game since her predecessor, Jaja Santiago, in Season 79.
Niña Ytang exploded for 30 points to power the Up Fighting Maroons past the NU Lady Bulldogs in five sets in their second round meeting of UAAP Season 87.
Ytang went off of 27 attacks and three blocks, scoring the highest points in a single game for UP since Creamline Cool Smashers' Tots Carlos who tallied 32 points against UST in Season 80.
It's also a first for a middle-blocker since NU's Jaja Santiago in Season 79.
