Anything but a strong finish is on top of Adamson’s to-do list.

The eliminated Soaring Falcons try to escape out of a three-game slide with a tall task at hand in the form of the no. 1 FEU Tamaraws in the UAAP Season 87 men’s volleyball tournament, Saturday, April 12, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

Match time is at 11:00 a.m.

The rough road continues for Adamson, who went just 1-3 in the second round of play and a dismal 2-9 slate overall through 11 games.

Sitting at no.7, only the winless UE Red Warriors (0-11) – who are the lone team the Soaring Falcons beat this tournament – have a worse record than the San Marcelino-based squad.

Adamson returns to the taraflex on the heels of a 17-25, 16-25, and 15-25 setback against the four-time defending champion NU Bulldogs.

No Soaring Falcon cracked the double-digit scoring mark as Joel Menor tallied seven points off the bench to pace his squad.

Leo Coguimbal and Marc Paulino contributed six markers each while Jude Aguilar was limited to a season-low three points.

After FEU, Adamson squares off with DLSU Green Spikers (7-4) and the UP Fighting Maroons (3-8) in their final two UAAP Season 87 assignments.
