The Golden Tigresses now have a bigger streak for UAAP Season 85.

Twenty-five year old outside hitter Milena Alessandrini returns to the University of Sto. Tomas three years after suffering a partial ACL tear in Season 81.

The Filipina-Italian though is keeping it simple with her return, "I'm back in training and I try to be good and help," she told the UAAP Varsity Channel.

The Season 80 Rookie of the Year is expected to provide some much-needed boost to the UST Golden Tigresses, who lost to the Ateneo Blue Eagles in round 1 of the stepladder semifinals last year.

The 6-foot-1 "amiga" for UST will also be an extra hand for Eya Laure, who was the top scorer of the league at the end of eliminations with 272 points.

"I hope that I will have a good performance, and I hope to be able to help the team achieve our goal," Alessandrini said.

The UST Golden Tigresses will be starting their campaign this Sunday, February 26, when they take on Season 84 runner-up La Salle Lady Spikers at 2 PM.
