It’s a tough second day for Alas Pilipinas in the SEA V.League
The Alas Women ran into powerhouse Thailand Saturday, losing in straight sets, 13-25, 18-25, 10-25, at the Vinh Phúc Gymnasium.
It’s the second straight loss for Alas Pilipinas for this leg of the 2024 SEA V.League, following a four-set defeat to Vietnam Friday.
Despite the quick loss, nine Alas players scored against Thailand.
The NU champion pair of Alyssa Solomon and Bella Belen led the team with five points each. While Thea Gagate and Faith Nisperos added four each.
Alas Pilipinas will wrap up this opening SEA V.League leg against Indonesia on Sunday, August 4.
