Jia de Guzman took little time to imprint her game in Japan with a new footages showing the former Creamline Cool Smashers in action with her new team Denso Airybees.
The multi-awarded setter is already forming a connection with her spikers as shown in this video where Jia makes a back set for middle blocker Sayaka Yokota's slide.

Creamline fans will have mixed feelings with these footages. Of course, everybody is proud of Jia for doing amazing things in Japan, but it's going to feel weird not seeing her in the Cool Smashers pink.
Alyssa Valdez has already said her emotional farewell to her long-time partner inside the court. Michelle Gumabao also has nothing but sweet words for de Guzman.
The volleyball community will closely watch Jia's career in Japan, and how her departure will impact the strength of the Cool Smashers in the PVL.
