The Filipinas goalkeeper is already setting goals.
Kaiya Jota is just 17 years old, but she's already sparking the dream of kids to play football.
The goalkeeper, who was part of the Filipinas squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, shared photos talking to a young class from Marshall Fundamental Secondary School in Pasadena, California.
"Loved talking with @erikafutbolsoccer‘s 6th-grade class about soccer and my experiences," Jota shared on Instagram.
Jota made her debut for the Philippines in a friendly match against Papua New Guinea and helped fellow goalkeeper Olivia McDaniel keep a clean sheet for the 9-0 victory.
She has played so far for the Los Angeles Breakers and has committed to the Stanford Cardinals.
Keep sparking dreams, Kaiya!
