With his first basket Saturday, a three against Thirdy Ravena and the San-en NeoPhoenix, Parks Jr. has reached the 1,000-point regular season milestone in Japan’s B. League, becoming the fourth Filipino Asian Quota Player to do so.
Parks Jr. joins Thirdy, Kiefer Ravena, and Dwight Ramos for the distinction.
Ray is on his third season in Japan, all with the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. For the season, he’s averaging 7.1 points as he embraced a new role off the bench.
Nagoya is 16-10 at press time, third in the West.
