Kai Sotto is having his best pro career stretch so far in the Japan B.League.
It's scary hours for the Japan B.League with the Kaiju coming.
Kai Sotto posted a bold statement on his Instagram just a day after leading the Corsairs past the Thirdy Ravena San-en NeoPhoenix, 81-76.
"If my setback amused you, watch my comeback confuse you," he posted.
The 21-year-old Pinoy giant tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds, including the game-ahead basket via a hook shot, for his fifth double-double in the last six games.
Sotto also connected on an efficient 11-of-14 field goal clip in over 27 minutes playing as Yokohama’s starting big man.

With new-found confidence, the 7-foot-3 Gilas Pilipinas star led his squad once more in both scoring and rebounding for the second straight game. Kai-ju registered 21 markers and added a season-high 12 boards in a 84-73 Yokohama dub over the Kawasaki Brave last Sunday, March 3.
During that six-game stretch, Yokohama went 4-2 with Sotto wrecking havoc inside and crashing the rebounding glass with ease.
This is all coming off an impressive two-game performance for Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers’ first window, in which the son of former PBA player Ervin Sotto averaged 15.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks.
Sotto hopes to sustain his fine form next week as they face the cellar-dweller Toyama Grouses on Wednesday, March 14.
