Fresh from helping the Shiga Lakes to the B2 championship and back to the B1 in Japan, Kiefer Ravena has joined B.League free agency, the Lakes announced Monday.
Kiefer will enter the free agent list as his contract is set to expire after the current B.League season.
Ravena averaged 12.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists for Shiga in the B2 this past season. In the Playoffs, he upped his numbers to 19.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.
Kiefer also played two B1 seasons with Shiga, averaging 13.2 points his first year, and 10.5 points in his second.

The older Ravena brother joins a growing list of Filipino Asian Quota free agents that already include his younger brother Thirdy, Matthew Wright, Kai Sotto, and EJ Edu.
Notable free agents also include Rhenz Abando from the KBL, and even former B1 champion Carl Tamayo, who left the Ryukyu Golden Kings earlier this season.

For the meantime, Kiefer has committed to play for Strong Group for the 43rd William Jones Cup in Taiwan.
