The 20-year-old Diego Aspiras, a former player for the Philippine youth national football team, takes his talents to Spain as the latest member of the prestigious Barcelona City FC.

Rising Filipino booter Diego Aspiras is now a member of the Barcelona City FC in a major development of his young football career.
Aspiras now takes his talents to Europe, joining a prestigious international football academy after getting a personal invite.
The 20-year-old central midfielder played for the United City FC under the head coach Ramon Tribulietx and later for the Manila Digger F.C. in the Philippines Football League (PFL).
“This is an unbelievable opportunity that not many people get to have,” Aspiras shared.
He added: “Being around top players who are hungry and driven just brings out the best in me. This opportunity is something that I truly look forward to pursuing and I am excited to see what the team can accomplish.”
Given a rare opportunity, Aspiras will now train alongside international youngsters from various countries like Spain, Mexico, Tunisia, and Senegal.
“The ability to compete in one of the best countries in the world for football, like Spain, allows me to grow and become the best version of myself,” Apiras ended.
