The Olympic Games Paris 2024 are here, and among the most high-profile sports include men’s basketball.

The sport is as star-studded as it could, and Paris 2024 marks the return of old stars and the debut of new ones.

Following the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, hoop action gets going almost immediately. But before the first tip off, here’s how every men’s basketball team look for Paris 2024, featuring brand-new kits.

Team USA

Eight of the 12 Olympic teams for Paris 2024 are outfitted by Nike and Jordan brand, with the Swoosh accounting for six nations.

At the forefront are the defending champion United States, who have won all Olympic gold medals since the Redeem Team in Beijing 2008.

For Paris, Team USA is back to a darker shade of blue, and arguably the biggest change is on the “USA” text, which now sport blue as the text color with a red outline and white shadow.

Spain

Long-time Olympic rivals for the Americans, Spain once again keeps it clean for Paris 2024.

A slight change comes in the red lining, but Spain’s Olympic jerseys are mostly intact from previous versions, down to the “España” text in front.

Brazil

Brazil is coming in hot with a striking uniform for Paris 2024, with a green base and clean white text.

A nice, subtle detail is the lining on the team’s jerseys, which feature colors of the Brazilian flag.

Puerto Rico

Similar to Brazil, Puerto Rico’s jerseys take advantage of their flag’s striking colors and complementing it with simple white text for the name and numbers.

The lining also comes with the blend of their flag’s colors.

Greece

For their return to Olympic basketball, Greece ditch the navy blue from previous world competitions in favor of a lighter shade of blue.

Another change from previous editions is “HELLAS” now spelled in English alphabet.

Canada

Coming off a bronze medal run in the FIBA World Cup last year, the Canadian’s are changing things up for Olympic basketball in Paris.

The name and numbers now feature a back base and white lining, as opposed to solid white from last year. The red jerseys now also feature black lining, compared to white from 2023.

Japan

One of two Jordan-outfitted countries in the Olympics, Japan feature the same elements as Canada, albeit with minor but noticeable changes.

For one, it’s the Japanese that get the white base and black outlines for the name and numbers. In general, Japan’s new uniforms also feature more black as an accent color, a color that was entirely absent from the Tokyo 2020 version.

France

The second Jordan-branded team, France sport a deep blue uniform akin to their national team nickname.

The Olympic hosts also get the flag colors blended through the jersey lining.

Germany

After Nike and Jordan Brand, Peak Sports comes in second outfitting three countries in the Olympics.

Headlining the field is Germany, the reigning FIBA World Champions. The “Deutschland” text returns for the world champs, as the jersey is largely unchanged from their World Cup run.

Serbia

The same pretty much goes for Serbia, whose jersey retain the similar elements from the World Cup including the “Srbija” text.

Perhaps the major change in between Olympic appearances for Serbia is the fact that the team sported red uniforms in Rio 2016, a variation that has been largely absent in recent years.

South Sudan

South Sudan is keeping it sleek and simple for the Olympics.

Much like their World Cup run, the Bright Stars are looking to impress in their Olympic debut with their time and tested black and white combo.

Australia

Perhaps the team with the most unique basketball uniforms, the Boomers are coming into Paris in a kit provided by Asics.

The Australia jersey features Japanese Yagasuri print for the main body. Indigenous art by Beijing 2008 Olympian Paul Fleming titled “Walking together” is on the side panel.

According to Fleming, the center piece is meant to represent a meeting place, as the Olympics “brings together people of all colours, religions and backgrounds from all over the world who are all competing for the same goal.”

Men’s basketball action start July 27 (PHL) time featuring Australia vs. Spain in Group A, Germany vs. Japan in Group B, France vs. Brazil in Group B, and Greece vs. Canada in Group A.
