Can James Yap extend his career to 20 years?
Age is just a number for James Yap.
The seven-time champion is extending his already illustrious PBA career with a new contract with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. ROS announced the development via their social media accounts.
"Another run for the Man with a Million Moves! 🙌 James Yap has signed a one-conference deal with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. He will play in the upcoming Commissioners Cup."
Yap returned to professional play just last January after missing more than a year because of injuries and his duties as councilor of San Juan City.
This season will mark Yap's 19th in the league, and past and present teammates have nothing but adoration for the legend as he pushes to the two-decade mark in the league.
"Another go at it!" ROS veteran Gabe Norwood said on Instagram.
Elasto Painters' young bloods Andrei Caracut and Leonard Santillan gave a nod to the 41-year-old's conditioning.
"Kundisyooon! Congrats Manong!" Caracut said.
Big Game James' former teammates in the Purefoods franchise also gave him his flowers.
