Terrafirma ace Juami Tiongson is looking forward to teaming up with idol Jayson Castro in the PBA All-Star Game in Bacolod on Sunday, March 24.
The PBA All-Star Weekend is a chance for fans to see their hoop idols in the flesh and, if lucky, get to rub elbows with them.
Count Terrafirma star Juami Tiongson among them as he looks forward to teaming up with long-time idol Jayson Castro when the All-Star Game unfurls this weekend in Bacolod.
“Kakampi ko si Jayson Castro. Very excited ako. Idol ko 'yun growing up,” said Tiongson when asked what he is most excited about the mid-season spectacle.
Tiongson and Castro will suit up for Team Mark Barroca which also features seven-time Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, Calvin Abueva, Robert Bolick and Jason Perkins.

The opportunity to play alongside one's idol does not come often.
That is why Tiongson, an All-Star first-timer, will make the most of it as he will try to ask the TNT superstar and two-time best point guard in Asia for some tips on how to get to the next level.
“Hopefully, hindi ako mahiyang magtanong sa kanya,” said Tiongson.
