Chris McCullough is reinforcing the SGA team set to lock horns in the upcoming Jones Cup in Taiwan.
Former San Miguel import Chris McCullough had long expressed his desire to return and play ball in the Philippines.
McCullough got that.
Only this time, he is donning the SGA jersey in the 43rd William Jones Cup from July 13 to 21.

“Feels good being here to get back in shape. And ready to go out there and go play,” said the ex-NBA player.
Make no mistake about it – his desire to play anew in the PBA has never waned.
After leading the Beermen to the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup championship, the lanky forward has been open to returning to the country.

Nothing has worked out so far for the 29-year-old journeyman, who is currently playing for the Formosa Dreamers in the Taiwan P.League+.
The schedule of the Commissioner’s Cup could also be in conflict if he is indeed set for another tour of duty in the PBA.
“Honestly, I don’t know. I think it starts in December, right? By that time I might already be signed. I want to come back but we’ll see how it goes," McCullough said.

But once everything falls into place, McCullough would not hesitate to grab the opportunity even if it means he has to suit up for other teams.
“If an opportunity presents itself, then I will play in the PBA. I don’t care what team I play for, just to play here in general,” he said.
Right now, though, McCullough is focused on his SGA duties alongside the likes of Kiefer Ravena, Rhenz Abando and Jordan Heading.
