Myke Henry will reinforce a team that recently tapped Jong Uichico as new head coach.
NLEX announced on Wednesday, July 17, that it is tapping Myke Henry as reinforcement for the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup.
Henry had a brief stint with the Memphis Grizzlies before becoming a journeyman, making stops at Israel, Italy, France, Greece and Poland.
“We welcome former NBA pro Myke Henry as our import for the 2024 PBA Governors’ Cup,” wrote the Road Warriors in a Facebook post.
The 6-foot-6 cager averaged 5.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the 20 games he played wearing the Grizzlies jersey in the 2017-18 season before being waived.
The Chicago, Illinois-born Henry also suited up for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League twice.

Before taking his act to the Philippines, the 31-year-old last played for Satria Muda in the Indonesian Basketball League.
His wealth of international experience convinced the Road Warriors to get his services for the import-laced conference.
“Myke's all-around game and international experience will surely help our team's campaign next conference,” NLEX added in the same post.
