Aleah Finnegan is back in the Philippines and will make an appearance in the PBA Season 49 opening ceremony.
The Meralco Bolts have officially named Philippine Olympic gymnast Aleah Finnegan as their muse for the 2024-2025 PBA season kickoff on Sunday, August 18, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
In their post on social media, the Bolts said they are honored to have Finnegan embody the team's spirit and dedication.
The 21-year-old gymnast is back in the country after proudly representing the Philippines at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Finnegan, Emma Malabuyo, and Levi Jung-Ruivivar made history by becoming the first Filipina gymnasts to compete in the Olympics in six decades.

Finnegan placed 47th in the women’s all-around qualifiers with 50.498 points, missing the cutoff for the event finals. Only the top 24 in the all-around and the top eight in each apparatus advanced to the medal round.
Nonetheless, Finnegan is a two-time SEA Games gold medalist and has earned two gold medals from the prestigious USA NCAA Championships.
With Finnegan standing alongside the Bolts, Meralco aims to electrify the court once more and bring home another PBA crown after their first trophy in the PBA Philippine Cup.
